Today we went to visit MaMa's Dad's gravesite. His body lays in a military cemetery. There are acres and acres of tombstones marking final resting places.
Each tombstone is honored with its own flag for Memorial Day weekend.
There were many flags lining the cemetery roads.
We parked and started the search.
Many loved ones have visited.
There were many patriotic tributes.
We found it.
DaDa putting back flags after Kelly pulled them up to wave them.
We found this marker of a service woman (not too far from Dad). Not too many service women back then (World War II).We found this video tribute of a young serviceman's funeral that was made for his young daughter. It was produced by a professional company and is very moving.
It's worth the download.

What an honor it is to have a serviceman or woman in your family. We are so thankful for the men and women who fought to protect us...
Thank you to MaMa's Daddy for his service!
I agree with TB.
Posthumus thanks to your Dad.
Love the pigtails on miss Kelly!
