Mini Reunion Day

Today was our planned mini reunion. In our group there were 11 families and today we would be 5 families together again.

The morning started with Kelly opening a Birthday gift from Auntie K1.
Kelly's birthday is December 20th.

We met at a Mexican restaurant.

We were eating and the 2 year old girls were running all over.

Much socializing was done and many photo's were taken.

Next we headed over to a park for the girls to play on the slides.

"I love this! Where have these slides been all my life?"

Kelly dressed in her cute snowman ensemble and cutie hat.

Kelly and Lacie, "We can do it!"

On to Lily's house for homemade cake and ice cream and socializing and plenty more photos.

We decided we needed a red sofa anniversary photo.
Three on the sofa two more to go.

We are almost there!

Some squirmed, some cried, some put their butt to the camera (Kelly)!

This was the best one out of several tries.
We had a fabulous time catching up and strengthening our bonds.
The company and eats were wonderful and delicious.

We actually had another Lili and her parents join us. Lili's parents were waiting for their referral while we were in China and they followed all our blogs. They were happy to meet all the little darlings.

That night some of us headed back to visit the River walk.
In some areas of the walk the lights were draped like chandeliers.

Although it was very cold Kelly kept kicking off her shoes.

The guys had serious stroller racing.
This was the finish line. Notice the girls expressions.

Here was the Saturday evening group braving the cold. E also brought a bottle of wine for us to toast the event. A good time was had by all.
We can't wait until next year!
Thanks to K1 for assisting on this blog!

Oh, it was so much fun to see you guys! I cannot wait for the next reunion -- someone tell me where it is and we'll be there!

I need some of your pictures -- especially the one of the "red couch" (the "best one" you posted) the stroller racing shot and the group shot with the tower behind us.

Thank you so much for disrupting your schedules for us. We had such a great time!

I'm home! I want to say THANK YOU again for being such great friends and hosts! Keep MY room available for me for the next time. Don't let anyone (ahem, E&K3) poach it from me!
