Kelly's hotel crib

Kelly had two different cribs while at the White Swan. Her first crib was a dark wood with the slats close together. We laid her in it when we brought her in for the first time. She had fallen asleep in my arms on the bus ride back.

She had had such an emotional and stress filled day that she slept through her dinner time and we just let her. When she woke she was scared, hungry, disoriented and crying. The big dark crib didn't help the matter. We pulled her out fed her and changed her diaper.

Weve been blessed with a child who is a hearty eater. Others in our group had feeding issues, but not us. Kelly also liked the bottled water we gave her.

The next morning I happened to see other styles of cribs that the cleaning maids had left in the hallway and I immediately inquired about changing out the crib. The next crib was light colored with the slats spaced farther apart. Although Kelly did not sleep in it, it was a much friendlier crib and Kelly liked to play in it.
