Helping MaMa and DaDa with the house...

Kelly has taken an active role in our house renovation. Boy, there's lots to do before we can move in, and Kelly likes to help in any way she can...

Since one of Kelly's favorite activities is rolling around on the floor, naturally she'll get in on the action when we are shopping for flooring...

"What do you mean, no carpeting? What are allergens anyway?"

Kelly's not shy about trying out the flooring samples.

Back at our house, we have to measure for the flooring.

Kelly knows the importance of proper equipment.

Too pooped to paint...
MaMa and DaDa have been very blessed with a trooper of a child. Kelly is very patient with MaMa and DaDa and puts up with a lot of stuff that would have other toddlers in tantrums. Thank Heaven that Kelly's meltdowns are few, far-between, and usually short-lived. We've still got a long way to go before we can actually occupy our house, but with Kelly's help the time will fly by and we'll be enjoying a relaxing home life very soon.

I absolutely love the way her face shines when she smiles. You can tell it comes from within, it isn't just surface.

We were looking at that post on the computer right after posting, Kelly climbed up no MaMa's lap to see. When MaMa scrolled down to the photo of Kelly with the tape measure, Kelly said, "Happy, Happy, Happy."

We've come a long way. That is sooooooo different from when she didn't really want to have anything to do with us.

Love the close up smiling Kelly picture. What a little angel!

Happy referral day anniversary, a few days late. I thought about you on the 25th, and it brought a smile to my face.

Looking forward to December, when we'll see you. Think the house will be done by then?

What a special time you're all having... I suppose it may not seem so great when you're up to your elbows in paint, but someday you'll see the great reward. And then you can see Kelly grow up in your special home. I can't wait to see the finished casa!
