Fiesta Parade

Here we all are before the parade started. Lili and her parents joined us.

...there were Pirates...

...sticks of butter ...

We loved this one, it was a motorized ice cooler!

... decorated puppies...

Flowerized antiques.

The girls enjoyed all the commotion. They especially liked when one of the parade people stopped and gave Kelly some candy and told Kelly to give some to her sister as she motioned to Lili.

There are several parades during Fiesta. This one takes place through one of the oldest neighborhoods that was started back in the mid 1880's. You can see one of the elaborate old German homes in this area.

This guy created his own look a like float. He got the crowd cheering pretty loud.

On our way out Kelly took a quick nap.

On our way out we noticed a for sale sign at our old house that MaMa grew up in. We stopped and looked around. The sign said for lease. The place looks run down and in need of some TLC. We looked in and saw that the original oak wood floors that MaMa's mother so loving took care of had been painted over and scuffed up.

King of Fiesta. DaDa was pooped and Kelly crowned him in his sleep.
