Getting Nowhere

The kids said they were on their way to school in cousin Truman's little car bed.

That evening we decide to start putting up the tree. Here is Kelly holding up one of the few ornaments that DaDa was allowed to put on the tree when he was a little boy.

Not pictured here is Kelly being allowed to put up glass ornaments, which she did plenty. This is the second year that DaDa has allowed her to hang glass ornaments, something he never got to do as a child. Funny how some things just stick with you.

It IS funny how the things that we remember from our childhood shape the way we parent our children.

I'm glad you're letting her put on the glass ornaments and allowing her to become responsible at an early age.
